Security (System Parameters)

Configure password settings on the Security page. 

Opening the page

1. Go to Home > Settings > System Parameters.

2. On the Security page, configure settings. (see below)

3. Click Save.

Password Handling

• Minimum Length - Set the minimum number of characters in a password. The default is zero.

• Complexity - Require users to create a password with these features: capital letter, lower case letter, number, and a symbol.

• Restrict Weak Passwords - Validate passwords against a live vulnerability database.

• Force Change Every x Days - Invalidate a password after X number of days. Available as a security measure but not recommended.

• Disable After x Failed Attempts - Disable login access after X number of failed login attempts.

• Restrict Password Reuse - Prevent users from reusing recent passwords (validated against the last 10 passwords used).
