Orders Permissions Overview – Da Vinci Unified

Set permissions for order processing.

Opening the Orders page

Manage access to billing charge codes.

Permission	Definition
View Charges	User can see charge codes in orders.
Edit Charges	User can see modify charge codes in orders.

Manage access to receiving orders.

Permission	Definition
Create	User can create receiving orders.
Edit	User can see modify receiving orders.
View	User can see receiving orders.
Receive	User can can change order status to Receive (which means completed).
Void	User can see disable a receiving order (but not delete). The order cannot be processed but the record stays on the platform.
Override Task Status	If RF enabled, user can complete a receiving order even though all bar code scans are not finished.
Insert/Edit Notes	Add or edit an order note.
Create Order Lines	User can add inventory to a receiving order.
Edit Order Lines	User can modify inventory on a receiving order.
Delete Order Lines	User can remove inventory from a receiving order.

Manage access to shipping orders.

Permission	Definition
Create	User can create shipping orders.
Edit	User can see modify shipping orders.
View	User can see shipping orders.
Ship	User can change order status to Ship (which means completed). This status depletes inventory and triggers notifications and EDI messages, if enabled.
In Process	User can change order status to In Process.
Void	User can see disable a shipping order (but not delete). The order cannot be processed but the record stays on the platform.
Insert/Edit Notes	Add or edit an order note.
Insert Order Lines	User can add inventory to a shipping order.
Edit Order Lines	User can modify inventory on a shipping order.
Delete Order Lines	User can remove inventory from a shipping order.

Print Small Parcel Labels	User can create a label.
View Small Parcel Disc. Rates	User (normally a customer) can see discount rates from the manifest solution.
View Small Parcel Non-Disc. Rates	User (normally a customer) can see non-discount rates from the manifest solution.
Edit Tag Data

Manage access to schedules (e.g. appointments).

Manage access to work orders for internal processes (e.g. a cycle count or creating kits).

Manage access to POs for incoming inventory.

Permission	Definition
Create	User can create purchase orders.
Edit	User can modify purchase orders.
Delete	User can remove purchase orders.
View	User can see purchase orders.

Manage access to shipping channels.

Permission	Definition
Edit	User can edit edi orders.
Void	User can void edi orders.
Substitute	User can replace edi orders.
Split Line	User can create edi split lines.
Change Warehouse	User can send edi orders to another warehouse.
