Shipper Descr Prefix (Accounts)

Use this feature to automatically generate one or more documents when a shipper name is added to a shipping order. DVU users can configure the platform to auto-generate any or all of these documents:

• small parcel label

• carton contents label

• UCC 128 (shipping) label

Creating the shipper mapping

1. Go to Home > Business Partners > Accounts.

2. Open an account (or create a new account).

3. Click Attribute Mapping on the side menu. A new page displays.

To map attributes:

1. Click the top field and select Shipper Desc Prefix on the drop-down menu.

2. In the next field, paste in the name of the shipper. The name must be an exact match with the text in the shipper’s Description field.

3. Click the next field and choose a process (e.g. Print Small Parcelk Label).

4. Click the Value field and select Enable

5. Click the plus icon to add the mapping to the page.

• Click Save Partner. Repeat the steps to map more documents (i.e. Print Carton Contents and/or Print UCC 128 Label).

Managing results

Once complete, DVU displays the mapping rules in a table. To remove a rule, select a table row and then click the Delete button.
