This article shows staff how to create a work order on an RF scanner. Warehouse staff can use this feature to start and finish an uniformed cycle count on the warehouse floor.
Creating a work order
Log in to the scanner. On the Main Menu, select Work Orders (5).
Select New Cycle Count (2).
Optionally, select an account.
Enter a unique order number.
Starting a cycle count
The scanner prompts the user to enter a location. This starts the cycle count.
Scan a storage location.
Scan an LPN (optional) or select Enter.
Scan an item code.
Scan a Lot Code (optional) or select Enter.
Scan a Sublot Code (optional) or select Enter.
Select a status type.
Enter a quantity.
Select 1 to confirm or 2 to change the quantity.
Counting more items
The scanner displays the Scan Location screen. That completes one cycle. Repeat the above steps to:

count other items, or
-
go to the next screen to verify the count on the scanner, or

go to the platform to review the results and make inventory adjustments.
Verifying the count
Warehouse staff can check their work on the scanner.
Move through the steps to display the order numbers for the current account. Select a new order number.
The scanner displays account, order number, item, and quantity information.
Reviewing the results
Review the results on the platform and make adjustments if required.
