Single Item, Qty 1

Station packers select this option when they have a large number of orders of the same product with a quantity of one (and a single line entry on the order) to process and pack. This option saves time because there is no need to print or scan a packing list. The single item is proof of order fulfillment.

Packing an order

1. Select Single Item, Qty 1 on the screen.

2. Make sure the printer options are enabled.

3. Select a carton size.

4. Scan the first item.

DVU displays the line item in the To Be Packed window for a short time and then automatically moves the line to the Pack Complete window.

After scanning the first item, the system automatically:

• generates the labels

• closes the order

• searches for the next order with the same item (and single quantity)

The packer should then:

1. Pack the order.

2. Scan a staging LPN (if required).

3. Repeat steps until there are no more Single Item, Qty 1 orders to process.
