Relocate Kit Inventory (UI)

Use this UI tool to relocate all or a portion of the kit inventory from one location to another location.

Moving inventory

1. Go to the Kit Inventory module.

2. Select a kit and then click the View icon to open the Inventory Detail page.

3. Select a row and click Relocate icon in the toolbar. 

A side panel displays.

Relocating some kits

Use this option to move some of the kits from the current location to a new location.

1. In the side panel, click the Relocate tab.

2. Select the status of the inventory to be moved. The default is Available.

3. Enter a quantity and new location information.

4. Enter a new LPN for the relocated inventory. (optional)

5. Click the Exception field and select an option. (optional)

6. Add a note. (optional)

7. Click Save.

Checking relocation results

DVU splits the original kit inventory into two groups and adjusts the quantity in the original location.

In the above screenshot, the user relocates three kits (from a total of 14) to a new location and creates a new LPN (AAA111).

In the below screenshot, the table shows the results. The original location (pick2) has a lower inventory quantity (14-3=11 kits). There is a new line entry with a different location (pick-1-a-1-a-3) that holds the relocated inventory (3 kits).

Relocating an LPN

Use this option to move an entire LPN to a new location.

1. On the side panel, click the Relocate Entire LPN tab.

2. Enter a new location.

3. Click Save.

Verify

Check the results on the Inventory Detail page table. Also, inspect the Inventory by Location page.

In the screenshot below, the table shows the correct kit inventory by location (14 kits in two different locations).
