Change Inventory Status

Use this tool to change the status of items in a location with the UI. 

Changing status

Follow these steps to change the status of all or a portion of the items in a location.

1. Open the Inventory Detail page.

2. Select an item.

3. Click the Change Status icon. A side panel displays.

In the side panel:

1. Click the Status To field to set the new status.

2. Enter the quantity with the new status.

3. Click the Exception field and select an option. (optional)

4. Add a note. (optional)

5. Click Save.

Verify

DVU updates the table data. In the screenshot below, the table shows the total Available decreased from 83 to 48. The Quarantined number increased from zero to 35. The Allocated total (20) did not change.
