A Service Lane is a geographic area serviced by a broker or carrier. Some transport companies provide national or international services, while others provide regional services. The Service Lane tag helps DVU users quickly generate a list of brokers or carriers that can provide transport services for a given job. The Service Lane feature, if enabled, is often used when creating shipments.
In Davinci, users can define a Service Lane using one of three geographic criteria:
