Use the Absolute Minimum Charge

This field on the General page (Home > Transportation > Rate Tariffs) sets a floor price for all routes on the tariff table.

For any given route, DVU compares the route tariff on the table with the value in the Absolute Minimum Charge field. DVU automatically pulls the higher figure into a shipment/load or pending quote.

Working with Min charges

DVU users can also set a minimum charge for individual routes. Open the Table Detail page and enter a value in the Min Charge column.

When a DVU user creates a shipment/load or pending quote with this route, Davinci compares three values (if available):

• Absolute Minimum Charge on the General page

• route specific Min Charge rate

• route rate

Davinci selects the highest figure and inputs that value into the Total Revenue field on the General page of a shipment/load or pending quote.
