DVU users can configure an account to receive and ship items with SSCC codes. This warehouse environment requires settings adjustments on several account-level pages.
Configure receiving

Go to Home > Business Partners > Accounts.

Open an account (or create a new one).

Click Receiving on the side menu.

Check the Barcode Scanning box.

Click the Barcode Scanning Style field and select SSCC.
Configure shipping

Click Shipping on the side menu.

Check the Barcode Scanning box.

Click the Barcode Scanning Style field and select SSCC.
When SSCC is enabled for shipping, the DVU user must enable manual inventory allocation (to run RF scanners when picking inventory).

Click General Properties on the side menu.

Go to Inventory Allocation.

Click the Allocation Mode field and select Manual.

Click Save Partner.
Configure scanning
Next, configure the platform to display SSCC data in a specific DVU location. Normally, DVU staff recommend capturing and displaying SSCC data in the sublot code field.

Click Barcode Scanning on the side menu.

Go to the Shipping - General box.

Click the Each SSCC field and select Sublot Code.

Click the Case SSCC field and select Sublot Code. (optional, see below)
Scroll down to the Receiving - General box and repeat the steps.

Click the Each SSCC field and select Sublot Code.

Click the Case SSCC field and select Sublot Code. (optional, see below).

Click Save Partner.
Enabling Case SSCC
SSCC codes are normally collected at the each level. It is possible to collect SSCC codes at the case level, as well. Assuming EDI data is transmitted correctly, one scan of a carton’s UCC128 label should reveal the SSCC code for each item inside the carton.
