The Orders module controls the operational center of warehouse activities. This is where DVU users manage inbound-outbound freight.
The Orders module has five sections.
Bill of Lading - Process and close a Master Bill of Lading (MBOL) and Consolidated Bill of Lading.
Shipping Orders - Open, manage, and close outbound shipments. Create line entries, generate pick tickets, pack cartons, add charge codes, and more.
Purchase Orders - Open and manage purchase orders, which optionally can be converted into receiving orders.
Receiving Orders - Open, manage, and close inbound shipments. Create line entries, schedule appointments, cross dock inventory, add charge codes, and more.
Generally, there are three receiving-shipping configuration options. These options define the way warehouse staff handle inventory.
Note If Manual allocation is selected, barcode must be enabled.
