Open this module to monitor the state of scanning tasks in four warehouse activities: Picking(e.g. cart picking to carton and wave pick tickets), Receiving, Put Away, and Work Orders. DVU users can also assign users to a task and check task progress.
Opening the tasks page

Go to Home > Warehouse > Barcode Scanning Tasks.

Select a task (i.e. picking, receiving, put away, or work order).

Select an account.

Use filters to add or remove status types. (optional)

Click Search.

Click the refresh icon.
The table displays rows of tasks with color codes based on status.
Managing tasks
Assigning a user
DVU users can assign a user to a task.

Select a row in the table.

Click the User icon.

Enter a user name in the search field or three percent signs (%%%) to display all.

Select a user.
-
Click Save.
DVU adds the user name to the record.
Deleting a task
To remove a task from a table, select a row and click the Delete icon.
Note If a DVU user deletes a table row inside the Barcode Tasks module, there is no effect on tables inside the Orders module. For example, a DVU user opens the Receiving Tasks page and deletes a task (e.g. order number recv-001). That same order on the Receiving Orders page does not change.
Checking task progress
Go to the % Complete column to see task progress.
Receiving tasks
The number in the column compares the actual received quantity with the planned quantity. For instance, the first row in the below table shows 100 in the QTY EA column and 250% in the % Complete column. That means the warehouse received 250 eaches instead of the planned 100 eaches.
Note The table shows Completed when the original receiving order changes to a Received status.
