This article shows users how to pick a wave ticket on the RF scanner. The workflow is similar to a general pic, though there are some extra screens.
Note A different article shows how to create a wave pick ticket.
Picking an order
Log in to the RF scanner and select Shipping (2).
Select Pick (1).
Select Wave (4).
Select a number.
Select Continue (1).
This screen displays a summary of the wave pick ticket. In this example, the ticket has eight lines and 427 items. Select Continue (1).
This screen displays special instructions if the DVU user entered any text when creating the wave pick ticket. Select Continue (1).
This screen shows the items to pick. Enter a line number.
This screen shows pick information (e.g. item code, location, line number, and quantity). Scan the LPN or location on the item.
Enter an LPN. If unavailable, go to the next screen.
Scan the SKU.
Enter the quantity.
Scan the pick to location. That completes one pick.
The next screen automatically moves to the next line entry in the wave pick ticket and shows the pick location. In this example, the screen shows line 2 of 8. Complete the remaining picks.
When the wave ticket finishes, the screen displays a message. Select M and return to the Shipping menu.
Davinci UI display
After the pick completes, the DVU user can confirm the results on the Shipping Orders page. In most cases, the table shows the shipping orders allocated and picked. Depending on the local circumstances, the orders might also be packed and staged.
