This article shows user how to adjust the inventory quantity in a location with a barcode scanner.
Getting started
Log in with a scanner.
On the Main Menu, select Inventory (4).
Select Adjust Quantity (5).
Select an account if required.
Scan a kit (item) code.
Scan a lot code (if available) or select Enter.
Select Yes (1).
Scan a sublot code (if available) or select Enter.
Select Yes (1).
Scan a location.
Scan an LPN (required if available).
Select a status.
Enter the new quantity.
The scanner displays a Success message with the revised quantity in the original location. Enter 1 to continue.
Verify
Open the Kit Inventory module and then go to the Inventory Detail page. Locate the row with the adjusted quantity.
In the screenshot below, the table shows the correct quantity (2 kits) with the Hold Status but the Available quantity (23 kits) did not change. Floor staff need to repeat the steps to reduce the number of available kits.
