In two previous articles, this DVU guide described two ways to create a TMS shipment/load: start on the DVU platform and start inside the TMS. Either option brings the DVU user to the Shipments page (Home > Transporation > Dispatch). This is where DVU users manage TMS shipments/loads.
Note There are four kinds of shipments: delivery, pickup, move, and return.
Page overview
This Shipments main page displays a table of records. Click a table row to open the Edit panel. Review details and update information.
Manage table information with the menu icons.

Add a new record.

Edit an existing record.

Delete a record (and then click OK in the confirmation popup window).

Refresh the list.

Enter a keyword and search the records.

Filter the display.
-
Export the table in an XLSX file.

Export the table in a PDF file.

Email the table (CSV file) to someone.

Click the ellipsis and select an option in the menu: Copy Shipment or Show/Hide Columns.

Use the checkboxes to display or hide table columns.
Managing record display
Depending on table settings, the page might only display records with an implied active status (e.g. Open, In Transit, etc.). Status labels that suggest inactivity (e.g. Closed, Void, etc.) might not be enabled and, therefore, not visible in the table.
To change the display settings:

Click the Search icon.

Use the checkboxes to enable or disable the display of records with specific Status labels.

Click the x icon in the top right corner to close the window.

Click the Refresh icon.

The page updates the records in the table.
Template
The Shipments template has nine links on the side menu. Click a link to open a template page. Use the fields on each page to configure shipment settings.
