A load describes the inventory on a truck. One load can have multiple deliveries (outbound), pickups (inbound), and stops.
Configuration options
The Loads module is a highly customizable tool. Configure loads for a variety of scenarios to deliver managed or unmanaged freight. DVU users can design:
-
multi-stop mixed loads that end at a terminal
-
multi-stop mixed loads that start at a terminal
-
multi-stop milk run routes with an option for customer systems integrations
Note It is not possible to document all the possible configuration options. Talk a DVU specialist to see how TMS can work for you.

Managing record display

To change the display configuration:
-
Click the Search icon.

Use the checkboxes to enable or disable the display of records with a specific Status label.
-
Click the x icon in the top right corner to close the window.
-
Click the Refresh icon.
-
The page updates the records in the table.
Template
The Loads template has nine links on the side menu. Eight links are identical to the menu items on the Shipments or Pending Quotes templates. There is one difference:
-
The Loads page has a Shipments/Stops link instead of Commodities.
