This article shows DVU users how to start a Move by entering values into the minimum number of fields on the General page.
Creating a record on the General page

Go to Home > Transportation > Dispatch.

Make sure the Shipments tab is selected.

Click the plus
icon.

Select Moves on the drop-down menu. The General page displays.

Add a Shipper Number and an Account. (required fields)

Click Save to generate a reference number.

Complete the template as needed. (see below)

Click Save.

Key fields to complete
At a minimum, complete these fields on the General page.
Summary section
Enter account information and, optionally, a rate (rate tariff or spot price).
Partners and Dates sections

Origin and Destination
-
Expected Departure Date and Expected Arrival Date
