A pending quote is an offer to provide a transport service (pickup, delivery, move, or return). If the potential customer accepts the quote, the DVU user can convert the quote to a job and manage the transport service in the TMS environment.
Creating a job

Go to the Pending Quotes section.

Open a quote.

Click the Actions button.

Select an option on the drop-down menu (pick up, delivery, return, or move).

Click Save.
Note After the DVU user clicks Save, Davinci moves the record from Pending Quotes to Dispatch.
Next steps
Go to Dispatch and open the record.

Verify the information on all pages.

Go to the Advanced page and fill in the driver and equipment fields as needed.

Generate and send shipper and carrier confirmation sheets. (optional but recommended)
