Manage barcode scanning settings at the account and warehouse levels. These settings work like a master switch for three warehouse barcode activities (i.e. shipping, receiving, and work orders).
If enabled, barcode scanning in the warehouse is possible. If disabled, barcode scanning is not possible.
Opening the warehouse-terminal page
Go to Home > Settings > Warehouse-Terminal.
Select the correct table row and click the Edit icon.
Click the Mode field and select Barcode Scanning.
Click Save.
Opening the Accounts page
The next step is to configure three warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, and work orders) for barcode scanning.
Go to Home > Business Partners > Accounts.
Select the correct table row and click the Edit icon.
Click Receiving on the side menu and check the Enabled box next to Barcode Scanning.
Click the Barcode Scanning Style field and select Line.
Click Shipping on the side menu and repeat steps 3 and 4.
Click Work Orders on the side menu.
Check the Enabled boxes next to Barcode Scanning and Auto Generate Work Order Number.
Click Save Partner.
