How to Add Demurrage and Per Diem Rates

To view demurrage and per diem rates for a shipment/load or pending quote, open the Advanced page of a shipment/load or quote. Scroll down to the Carrier Details section. The section also shows the last free day (LFD) dates for pickup and return, plus the calculation mode.

Managing rates

DVU users must open a different template page to input demurrage rates, per diem rates, and the number of free days. See below.

Manage rates and free days at the Account level.

1. Go to Home > Business Partners > Accounts.

2. Select an account (or create a new one) and open the template.

3. Open the Carrier Fees page.

4. Open an existing carrier record on the page (or create a new one).

5. Fill in the fields.

6. Click the field to select a Calculation Mode.

7. Click Save and then Save Partner on the next page.

Applying the rates

To apply the rates and verify the information:

1. Open a shipment/load or pending quote.

2. On the General page, enter the correct Account and Carrier.

Verifying the info

Go to the Advanced page and scroll down to the Carrier Details heading. Verify the daily rates and calculation mode.
