Yard Equipment

In the Yard Equipment Module, DVU can track Equipment regardless of having or not having an appointment.

Helpful Tips:

• DVU can track Last Free Day for Pick, which is, the last day a driver can pick up a container in the ship yard before paying a penalty fee.
• As you may imagine, you may also track Last Free Day for Return, which is, the last day a driver has to drop the container back off in the ship yard before paying a penalty fee.

Note: You must have TMS enabled to track these functions.

To create and log yard equipment in DVU:

• Go to Home > Yard > Equipment

• Click on [+] to add the equipment type (Chassis, Trucks, Trailers/container)

• Add in the relevant information and ‘Save’
