Setting the load status

Open a Load record and use the drop-down menu to update the load status.

  1. Go to the General page.

  2. Click the Status field and select an option on the drop-down menu. (see below)

  3. Click Save.

 

Note If a DVU user changes the status of a load, Davinci automatically updates the status of all related shipments on the Shipments page in the TMS environment and the Shipping Orders page in the Platform environment (if applicable).

Load status options

Select an option to ensure visibility of the status of the load is clear in the Dispatch. Create a Track And Trace log entry to make sure load tracing is accurate (available for any status selection between Open Pending and Hold).

  • Open pending

  • Open

  • Loading

  • Dispatched

  • In Transit

  • Unloading

  • Hold

  • Completed

  • Closed

  • Scheduled post

  • Posted

  • Void

Note To create a bill for a shipment/load, set the status to Scheduled Post.
